Lone Tree

Lone Tree School (TK - 5), Wheatland Charter Academy (K-4) and preschool are located on one campus with a central location on Beale AFB, nestled within the family housing community.  Our schools are public, serving the Beale AFB community and local communities of Smartsville and Wheatland that are just outside the base gates.  We are part of the Wheatland School District. We operate on a traditional school schedule.  

• New student "Passports" to get to know the campus and meet the key staff.
• New student social - new student invites a classmate to join in a social activity with key staff to bring new students together with friends.
• Yellow Ribbon Club - social connections and meetings to support students with deployed/TDY/remote parents to include a reunificaiton celebration once the military member has returned home. 
• Counselor check ins
• Counseling groups
• MixItUp lunches lead by the counselor for students to get to know more peers

• Response to Intervention - we conduct diagnostics for our students as they enter school to see where readiness skills are for academics and determine how we can support further growth and development

2021: We were invited by the USAF Band of the Golden West to participate with student artwork submissions for the reading of Goodnight Captain Mama. 

2016: We were highlighted by Beale AFB as our school is located on Beale AFB and supports the military children, TK - 5th grades.
