ACE - All Children Excel

BECOME A MENTOR!

Our ACE Mentor program provides caring, positive role models for our 4th & 5th grade students. You can help a student to develop better self-esteem, more confidence, team-player skills, and higher expectations in life. Students in the mentor program improve in the areas of attendance, assignment completion and grades. As a mentor, you will experience the satisfaction of knowing that you have contributed to a child's future.

Mentors are needed from all walks of life, from young professionals and college professors to tradesmen, full-time moms, retirees and those who simply share a cultural background with our students. Everyone has something to contribute.

Our belief is in catching students before they fall
through the cracks
is a proven success model
developed in the FRCs that will
continue through, and in collaboration with,
Counseling Services to ensure academic success.

The counseling program helps students develop academic, career and personal/social skills. The counseling program is designed to meet students throughout their various developmental stages.  Developed through the American School Counselors Association grade level benchmarks are established and will be used to determine goals and objectives students will be expected to meet through
counseling services.

School counselors coordinate ongoing systemic activities designed to assist students individually in establishing personal goals and developing future plans.  Grade level benchmarks are used to identify appropriate goals and track progress.

Like any organized activity, a school counseling program requires administration and management to establish maintain and enhance the total counseling program.
