I live with my husband, our cat, and our dog. We are expecting our first child in April 2014. |
| Hobbies: |
I enjoy most anything that takes me outdoors - hiking, backpacking, camping, boating, snowboarding, fishing, wake surfing, wake boarding, mountain biking, jogging. I am a partial owner of a fitness studio in Lincoln, although I don't make it in there too often. In the rest of my free time, I enjoy trail running with my husband, boating, spending time with family, or reading a good book. |

| Why I Love Teaching: |
I love my students. I am amazed by their perspectives and they way they see the world. I enjoy the challenges that I face each day in helping 20+ students learn not only the curriculum I am presenting, but how to make decisions, problem solve, and develop as an individual. |
